Does the typical self care advice frustrate you? Been there! It can be so unrealistic for moms with young kids. A morning routine with 30 minutes of journaling, an hour long yoga stretch, and 10 minutes of uninterrupted meditation? Sorry, but none of that is happening. Iit can make you feel awfully “less than” when you just can’t seem to get it to stick or make it work when you’re being interrupted by snack requests and potty incidents, and a babysitter isn’t always an option.

The advice can feel so overwhelming when you have young kids. Who’s got the time?? Maybe you’d rather spend that money on your kids than yourself. Because it doesn’t feel applicable to you (wake up earlier than your kids? What if your baby doesn’t sleep through the night, or your toddler hears you and gets up earlier too?) it can be easy to feel left behind.
